A fourth man has been arrested in connection with a incident in Redhill in which a man was seen standing on a balcony allegedly brandishing a weapon.

Officers from Surrey Police were called to Timperley Gardens at around 7.50pm on Sunday July 17 following reports of a concern for safety.

The force said eyewitnesses reported seeing a man with a weapon standing on the balcony of a flat in the cul-de-sac.

Three men have been arrested for firearms offences after a man was seen standing on a balcony in Redhill brandishing a weapon.

Officers carried out a search of the address but the man remains at large. The National Police Air Service helicopter was also seen circling overhead.

armed riot police eviction brighton road 3Three Redhill men aged 19, 17 and 15 were arrested at the scene for firearms offences, obstructing police, public order and assault with intention to resist arrest.

On Monday July 18, officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Redhill on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear.

Officers also searched an address where suspected Class-B drugs were found.

All four men have been released on bail until August 13.

A warrant has since been executed at another address in Redhill where a suspected imitation firearm was recovered. Enquiries are continuing said Surrey Police.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

Three people were arrested at the scene for firearms offences, obstructing police, public order and assault with intention to resist arrest.

They are all currently remain in custody at Salfords custody suite.

Officers remained in the Timperley Gardens area to ensure there were no further disturbances.
